So Bailes is in Chicago- safely and is awaiting her connecting flight. (She sounds bored) We prayed together for God to watch over Bailey on her journey and it amazes me at just perfectly His plans are. She was able to meet a family who helped her to get to her gate.. Talking with her now and she is where she needs to be at her gate...Thank you God for watching over my baby.
My mom is on her way to get her and what of all things would happen except that a deer jumps out of nowhere and proceded to land in my mom's path! Mom is ok and for now it appears to only be minor damage (in leiu of how bad it could have been) and she is on her way to get Bailey. (Guess we forgot to pray for the deer as her Dad said.)

Update...on Bailey
Leaving on a Jet Plane...
Bailey left today to go see my Grammy & Poppy for a few weeks... Did not think it would be this hard!
She is excited though and that is important...
Here we go...
Of Course we HAD to have a Starbucks together!
Isn't she Cute?
We had time for me to win at a quick card game... (ha! I may be old, but with that comes wisdom... * :o)
I am starting to miss her...
Here was the really hard part: (sorry for the not so great quality- people behind us didn't give me much time to get my settings together... too bright outside, dark inside... yuk!)

Play date at Chick-Fil-A
What a great idea! Ayden, Lily and their friend Zak got together for a fun dinner to spend some time together. Since moving from their old day care at the end of last year, we haven't really had the chance to get them together but this was a great way to re-connect and laugh and play together. There was even an opportunity for them to do some pottery thanks to Dawn Hudson of Pink Flamingo Arts. (She travels to schools and parties- so give her a call if you're interested- 904-710-1420) Thanks again for the invite Kathy- we'll have to do it again soon!

A Day at the Zoo...
What a great way to spend my only day off this week! We went (all 11 of us!) to the zoo and had such a fun time! Gwen and Matt's friend John has a son that is Ayden's age. They instantly became best buds and literally hit the gate running and spent the next several hours laughing, chasing and being kids! It was incredible to watch. We later commented that it was more entertaining seeing the boys have such fun together. I am so glad that we decided to all hang out today and hope we can do it again soon.

Field of Flowers
I have been hearing about this incredible field for almost a year now and have been waiting patiently for the past few months to be able to finally go and see for myself why people drive from all over to photograph it. And honestly, I was a little apprehensive about going because this beautifully painted canvas is privately owned by Mr. Horne and while people literally come and go without reservations, I was a little unsure about where to park and whether or not to ask permission first. But it wasn't long before we were running and laughing (and losing keys) through the middle of this gorgeous master piece. A photograph simply cannot do justice to the shear beauty of this field of wild flowers but I do hope you enjoy the images!
